Guys, here I read William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 130,’My mistress’ Eyes are nothing like the sun’. Don’t forget to susbcribe.
This is one of my favourite poems, because back in the time when authors were busy comparing women with objects, Shakespeare mocks them here and also presents women as human beings who need not be conventionally aesthetic or perfect.

Good.. its difficult to read his work. After Shakespeare’s works, i loved read works like Wuthering heights… but now I prefer 21st century writings.

🤝 expecting your video. It helped me to recollect the things I have studied during my college. Even though I have reading habit. I failed to see the magic in the words.

The eyes
the blue
the woman
they still shine
after half a century
in my heart
their lips ask
me today
always closed
down there on
Shore the
rippling lake
oh kiss me
take my youth away
away with you
I did not dare
the goddess
those in the evening
walking in the meadow
to the bank
me a hint
to exchange tenderness
gave me
the kiss the
I didn’t give her
I admit
I know
that nobody will believe me
her face
stayed on my life path
her red lips
her face
chaste and youthful
