AGE.

Two pairs of shoes
Walk outside the door,
Melting strides of a little
Neon, synch with the
Fading Brown.

Lurking behind the Brown,
The steps dwindle, a stride
And two, and dwindles
Again, dwindles back
To rhythm.

The Brown moves firm,
in
a
single
line;
Unaware of around, step
after step, taking the
Neon along.
